Can you present your hair salon?

I am François Calmus, independent hairdresser installed since 2006 in Saint-Julien-les-Villas. The salon specializes in women's, men's and beard cut with a team of 3 professionals.

How did you manage your appointments before Agendize?

The salon is near Troyes and not in direct access. Most of our customers request appointments by phone, which I estimate today to more than 90%.

Since when do you accept online appointments?

The solution is active since the beginning of September. We took advantage of the summer to refine our services and save our existing appointments in the platform. The 20-30 year olds are mainly users of the platform; This is a good way to recruit and retain a new clientele.

How do your customers have access to online appointment scheduling? 

People search for us mostly on Google. So we logically integrated the solution on our Google My Business profile.

Did you have any fears before implementing the solution?

My main fear, shared with my team, was to not be able to easily manage our schedules. For some years now we have been using a paper diary. Finally, the planning view is perfect and we were able to configure the solution for our use.

What are the benefits of online appointment scheduling for you and your teams?

Making appointments, answering numerous phone calls are everyday acts that take time and may prevent us from being fully available to our customers.

On the customer side, this extra service is available 24/7.

Do you think that setting up online appointment scheduling has improved the vision your employees / agents have of digital?

These are mainly new automatisms to acquire. Basic services like men's and women's cuts are easy to implement. The management of additional services such as colors with the integration of a team-mate in the customer journey has been well thought out to streamline our actions.
